The greatest memory of Joan's life is when she gave her heart to the Savior and committed her life to Him. It was at the age of nine that she felt the Holy Spirit drawing her in a deeper way than ever before. However in 1971 there was a powerful realization of who Jesus Christ was in her life, so at the age of twenty-four she she sought God and found Him with all of her heart.
Joan shares the love and adoration that she has found in Christ through teaching and speaking to diverse groups across the country. She has ministered in churches, Bible study groups, county jails, state prisons, juvenile centers, nursing homes, hospitals, parks, and hosting two radio programs. She is also working on a new television program. The desire of her heart is that God gets the glory in all that she does. She says He is our Savior, healer, and soon coming King.
Joan's husband, Denver, has pastored churches in Texas, Alaska and Colorado. Denver is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University with a BA degree in Religion. Joan, has attended East Texas Baptist University and Stephen F Austin State University. Today, they both attend Gateway Church in Southlake, TX.
She has been ministering the Word of God with zeal and enthusiasm since the Lord called her into special service in 1971. Denver and Joan have 4 beautiful children and 8 grandchildren. Being a wife, mother of 4, having a child with special needs, along with having a ministry of her own, has taught her many important and valuable life lessons. She loves teaching the Word of God and helping women know who they are in Christ and to live in God's truth. It is a daily walk that God has called us to. She teaches that God has given each of us a destiny to help us reach our destination in Christ. However, one has to know who God is and who they are in Him. God has given us His Holy Spirit and equips us with His armour to overcome all the tricks of the enemy.
Joan, wants to reach as many people with the Gospel as she possibly can. She believes that we may not have much time left before Jesus comes and we must be busy about the Father's business.
